CMT Ultimate Country Home
If the stars build it, the viewers will come. GREAT! helped launch the first season of CMT Ultimate Country Home by conceiving a strategic alliance with Better Homes and Gardens and a national sweepstakes to give away a house.
CMT Ultimate Country Home
GREAT! negotiated a strategic alliance with Better Homes and Gardens magazine that included an 18-page special tune-in advertorial section in their May issue to support the 13 week series as well as product integration within the series.
GREAT! conceived and executed how the home would be given away. Each week for 12 weeks, one first prize winner won a VIP trip for two to attend the taping of the final episode of CMT Ultimate Country Home and a key - one of which opened the front door.
In the final episode, one grand prize winner walked away with the CMT Ultimate Country Home, all of its furnishings and a Kia Sorento - worth more than half a million dollars - when her key unlocked the door of the home on CMT.
In addition to coordinating the house giveaway, GREAT! also helped reduce the cost of the production of the show with furniture provided by Better Homes and Gardens advertisers as part of the strategic alliance.
CMT Ultimate Country Home
Over $6 million in promotional exposure on newsstands, websites and in the pages of the 4th highest circulation magazine in the country leading to a stylish and successful first season for the CMT show. CMT received a whopping 3 million sweepstake entries!
